DeathValley South

This was the third trip to the west. It was the first to Death Valley that has turned out to be one of the best places to visit on earth. This land of extremes seduced me for craving more and more of what it hides in it's hostile and inaccessible back country. The Jeep Liberty was a good match for the south section, but I would soon want more and deeper access to the parks hidden treasures.







Trip Equipment:

• Jeep Liberty (Rental)
• Sleeping Bag (sleep in car one night)
• Clothes for hiking
  
• Cooler (buy at Wal-mart)
• Food & 3 cases of water.
• Fix a flat (1 can)
• Tire Chains (in case of snow in the mountains)

• Hike Bad Water
• Hike Natural Bridge
• Hike Devils Golf Course
• Hike Golden Canyon
  
• night one in Stovepipe junction
• Sunrise at Zembisnski point
• drive to Saline Warm Springs
  
• night two in Saline Valley
• drive out of Saline Valley
